Gutter cleaning with pressure-washing at a single-family home in Brentwood Place, Hoschton, GA. Work covered the gutters and the back patio concrete and took 1 hour 30 minutes.
The original problem
Customer called to clean gutters; referral from the next-door neighbor. The gutters had not been cleaned since the owners purchased the house in 1991. Front gutter was pitched away from the downspout after a branch or tree limb fell and bent the gutter. The back upper gutter had pulled away from the house due to the weight of accumulated debris and old gutter spikes pulling out of the soffit.
What we did
We cleaned the gutters thoroughly using a leaf blower, by hand, and with a pressure washer when needed. We re-pitched the front lower gutter to allow water to flow toward the downspout. We added 10 new hidden gutter hanger brackets to the rear upper gutter to secure it to the house. We cleaned the back patio to remove dirt that fell below while we were cleaning. Total project duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
The result
The gutters were cleaned and proper water egress was restored. It started raining heavily after the repairs and cleaning, and we observed the system working. The client was happy with the work.
